Who’s that talking? - Intuition and methods of expansion

Have you ever had that feeling that something was not quite right? Or that decision you just made spontaneously was incorrect?

That’s your intuition talking!

Intuition comes to you without any insight or logical reasoning. It is a process of receiving information which is exclusive to any general realization or analytical thought.

When accepted fully in one’s life, Intuition can be a valuable guide- saying this though Intuition should not be a substitute for analytical thinking. They are both rooted in different mind frames and should be considered independent of each other.

What we should consider however is that intuition will boost analytical thinking by perceiving thoughts in a whole different dimension. A different way of thinking of things as well as analyzing ones situation can often be a very useful tool for the person who is open to the use of Intuition as a another forms of intelligence.
This is because intuition is a master of bringing our attention to interactions of the world and makes us aware of our emotional and physical reactions to the circumstances.

Thus intuition is untapped wisdom for all to harvest- and we can see this in play through professions such as psychologists, counselors, therapists and spiritual practitioners all using their intuition in everyday life and their careers.

Our intuition connects us to our spiritual and often untouched aspect of our life and taps into undiscovered wisdom which often cannot be logically explained or reproduced in our conscious state.

Thus intuition is often referred to as the “inner voice and guide” and if used correctly can be developed to enhance one’s life and focus on ones purposeful mission; it is not available directly through the five psychical senses but rather the knowledge that it transcends beyond the norm.

So how do we develop it? How do we knowingly nurture our intuition so that it goes and becomes a vital part of us?

Several methods of development may be used by a person in order to increase and nurture their intuition:

1) Clear your mind- Our mind is made up of our reality. This is based on what our conscious calculates via our five physical senses. Clearing the mind enables your intuitive “feelings” to come through- people often refer to this as their “inner voice”.

2) Open up your crown chakra and heart chakra- Spiritual practitioners use this method often. This is how they become acute in their intuitive sense. By opening up their crown chakra and heart chakra they almost can’t distinguish conscious awareness compared to intuitive consciousness. Spiritual practitioners therefore have the ability to conspicuously merge the two realities together and use this method as a tool in their practice.

3) Trust yourself- In a nutshell if you don’t trust yourself then the very notion of intuition will not exist. You will just trust your consciousness and five physical senses because it is the norm. For intuition to transpire it too needs to become the norm in your world and this is only going to take place by trusting your “gut feelings”.
